Hoover U8140-900 WindTunnel VS Bagless Upright Vacuum with Powered Hand Tool, Green


... I used this vacuum for about 5 years prior to recently purchasing a Dyson. This vacuum worked pretty well and I was quite happy with it. It is very nice being bagless but it also has the option to use a bag if you prefer it. It has plenty of suction and the onboard tools are a nice touch. The powered hand tool is a huge plus and is great for cleaning furniture or stairs. Emptying the canister is clean and easy to do. One problem that I had with the vacuum was the HEPA filter constantly got clogged because it doesn't have any type of pre-filter. It was very messy to clean. It isn't washable so you either have to replace it often or take it outside and shake it like crazy to get it clean. When doing this the dust will go everywhere and make a huge mess and you will be covered in dust. Another problem was that you had to empty the canister often because the suction would greatly be reduced once the canister was half full. I think it is still a good vacuum for the price but there are certainly better vacuums if you are willing spend more money. ...
